More about Mock-up
Definition of mock-up
1: a full-sized
structural model built to scale chiefly for study, testing, or display
2: a working sample
(as of a magazine) for reviewing format, layout, or content.
Mock-ups are
created in a digital form. There are various software tools for mock-up
creation out there. You can either use dedicated mock-up tools, a standard
image editing software or any other software that works for you.
In the design process, mockups
come at the end of the lo-fi phase and the beginning of the hi-fi phase. This
could mean different things for different methods — for example, a mockup could
be made immediately after wireframing, or could be postponed until after some
lo-fi prototype testing.
